This Sunday October 23 starting at 1pm, Andy and myself will be giving a 90 minute presentation on graphic novels, our process, the differences between comics and graphic novels - et cetera, and then after that, having a 75 minute hands on workshop :)
The event in in conjunction with an amazing traveling exhibition of graphic novel art featuring the biggest names in the business, and we had the pleasure of being a part of it via the Norman Rockwell Museum a few years ago.
Now you can see it in Central MA if you are around! Woohoo!
So this is basically where I live most of the time
I hear many scary things in the night... it's pretty creepy!
Last month I started my Artist Residency at the Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, MA. It's been really wonderful - the students are awesome, the facility is great and I have lots of important time to work on Frankenstein pages.
But it's very dark at night.
But one night around 11, I woke up to the sound of screaming in the woods.
I know this is super short notice, but I am donating this piece to the Boys & Girl's Club annual fund raising auction - which is today!
I've been donating art to them for years, and it's a really wonderful cause. The Boys & Girl's Club has been offering kids a safe and positive environment to learn and grow in the worst of neighborhoods for decades.
