Saw so many lovely things at "I Want a Pony!"
I've lived in Massachusetts for most of my life, but have never been to Davis Square until now! Come to think of it, I've barely explored Somerville! What a great place!
There are so many restaurants we want to try in that area, like Mr. Crepe to name one.
If you've been there - what do you recommend?

@moduslotus
Blue Shirt Cafe is good. Diva is good. Diesel is the premiere hangout for hipsters, geeks, poly people, and various others embracing weirdness (I say this with affection of course). Red Bones is good for BBQ (although I prefer Blue Ribbon in Arlington). Johnny D's does a great jazz brunch. Theater@First does great community theater. And the Capitol Theater is great for discount movies.
ReplyDeleteThose are a few Davis Square highlights off the top of my head. Oh, and of course my publisher, Candlewick Press is there.
Cool, thanks Gareth!
DeleteI love flea markets! but yes its true ive lived in the chi 4ever and theres still some neighborhoods to explore!
ReplyDeleteThis one was perfect! Just the stuff I really loved, no like, WWII gun vendors or rusty car part guys, just the good stuff like records, clothes, kitchenware, art and creepy clown dolls!
DeleteFlea markets are always so fascinating for me. Mr. Crepe sounds like deliciousness is bound to happen.
ReplyDeleteYou know I've never had a savoury crepe before - must try one!!
