Apples everywhere

Had a nice weekend driving around Central Mass with Andy, stopping at local farms and markets along the way.  We eventually decided on a pumpkin from a farm stand but have yet to carve it up.

We went to Nourse Farm and Stowe Orchard, where we watched the horses eat and we shared an apple cider donut, then checked out a book sale at the Westborough Library, and other wise rambled around the area.

I'm currently working on a whole bunch of paintings and client projects, and feel fortunate the weekend weather has been so nice, we can really enjoy the season when we aren't in the studio.

I'm so happy we found out our own tree in the backyard is bearing amazing macoun apples!! (At least I think they are macouns, maybe an apple expert can taste test them for me) Definitely need to read up on the care and keeping of apple trees…

  1. How nice! I think New England would be a really pretty place for visiting in the fall.
