New West Coast Avengers short holiday story art

This past Christmas season I illustrated a short 9 page story written by Jason Latour for a Deadpool Holiday special, published by Marvel a little while ago.

It was a very tight deadline, I had about 11 days to draw, ink and color 9 pages, but I was happy with the final result.

However...

I got my comp copies today and realized that many pages printed were not the final versions!

Yikes!

So I thought I'd share what they looked like to me:

(Easter Eggs: Kevin is a friend of ours and the family in front are our neighbors)

This one above gets me the most, the version printed did NOT have the Santa map on the TV!!  Argh!  The reader thinks he's not pointing at anything!

This one above also was hard to look at,
1. the version printed had Kate flipped in the first panel, as if she flips her quiver panel to panel.

2. Quentin's shirt has the lyrics to "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" page to page, and the version printed doesn't show that joke.

3. The background of the food court is much more finished here than in the printed one.

Ah well, maybe it was my fault, maybe I didn't label the files correctly when I sent them in.  I dunno.  Anyway, this was: to whom it may concern.

Happy 2019!
