I can't remember if I posted this before?

I completed this painting for a show 3 years ago, with the thought to turn it into a large series, but never seemed to find the time.

It has a new home now, with someone who likes it very much, and that makes me very happy.

Had a lovely Christmas party on Dec 24, complete with delicious food and The Muppet Christmas Carol on DVD (UNcut version!)

This has been an amazing year of highs + lows, appreciating the bonds between people, overcoming struggles and realizing life isn't so hard afterall. 

This is time of year reminds me to tell the people 

I love that I love them, and I hope you do, too.

Gingerbread Castles at the Higgins Armory

We had a great time at the Higgins' annual Gingerbread Castle competition, this weekend.  

As you can imagine, the museum smelled pritty gud.

Holiday Cooking: Eggs Benedict

Elaine taught me how to make hollandaise sauce last week.

As I grabbed my chest in horror, she slowly melted an ENTIRE STICK OF BUTTER and added TWO egg yolks into the sauce pan.

Oh. My. GOD.  

But who cares, you only live once and my cholesterol is super low.

So let's just do this thing, it's Christmas.
